            Stunningly charming, innocent, conflicted, and filled with darkness. Janu is the sixth born of the witches of Gaiya. He is one half of the twin witches of Gaiya. Gifted with the element of ice, Janu’s powers allows him to manipulate and create ice. His powers are both enchanted with beauty and destruction. He shares a powerful and unbreakable bond with his twin sister Dahlia. Alone, he is vulnerable to his darkness, but with the presence of his sister. Janu is able to contain his darkness.

            The youngest of the witches, Janu has always felt distanced from the others. Dahlia is the only one of his siblings Janu felt close to. Though if may have seemed his other siblings distanced themselves from him. It was Janu who isolated himself. His darkness caused him to be alone. Only when Dahlia was near or with him would his darkness vanish.

            Since his childhood, Janu has always been conflicted by his inner darkness. His darkness was born with the birth of him and his sister. It is said that twin witches are sacred to the 13^th Star. Twins are gifted with the light and darkness of the 13^th Star. For Janu, he is gifted with the darkness and Dahlia is the light. He is the yin of the yang.

            Janu is a very powerful witch, considerable the strongest of the six. He is also very intelligent and observant. Though his darkness tends to twist his mind and feelings. It causes Janu to become lonely and isolated. His darkness suppresses his feelings of any goodness or happiness. In order to overcome the darkness, Janu needs to be able to find balance within himself to live in harmony with the darkness. For if he cannot, the darkness will consume his mind, spirit, and soul.

            Located to the north of Gaiya on the cold icy continent of Kolde, Janu lives and protects its lands. Surrounded by frosted mountains, frozen lakes, and enchanting cities imbued with ice, Kolde is a winter wonderland.

For the many years Janu have lived on Kolde without his sister Dahlia, he was slowly able to grasp the ability to control his darkness. He eventually found love, but that love would not last for however long Janu thought. It was the death of his lover that shattered his control over his darkness that led to the horrific events of Gaiya.  

Though the guilt and torment Janu has felt since his dark history has passed. It is something Janu must live with for the rest of his life. But with the comfort and help of not only his sister Dahlia, but all of his other siblings, Janu can come to accept and forgive himself. Even be able to grasp ahold of his darkness. But with the rising threat of the dark forces, their desire to use Janu could be catastrophic.

Janu may seem conflicted and broken, but the love he shares with his siblings and the love they share with him is unbreakable. His darkness may make him vulnerable, but it is also that darkness that gives him the strength to protect the ones he loves. And if the dark forces want Janu, he will not hesitate to use his darkness against those who wish to harm his family or home. For he is Janu, the Frost Witch, protector of Kolde and the sacred child of the 13^th Star.
