The Six Witches of Gaiya

The Six Witches of Gaiya

           Created by the 13^th Star, the witches are its creations. Given the gift of magic, the 13^th Star blessed and trained creatures to harness and enhance their elements. Though they were not always known as witches. At first they were called enchanters, then spellcasters, sorcerers, mages, wizards, until finally witches.

Gaiya, once home to the Stars, is now a world under threat by new forces rising from the shadows. Since the exodus of the Stars, new forces have risen to seize control of Gaiya in the absence of the Stars. In order to protect and defend the world, Gaiya blessed the most powerful witches with its powers to combat the arising forces. Originally they were known as The Five, but when the time came for a new generation of witches to take over, the last chosen witch would be twins. The new witches would then be known as The Six Witches of Gaiya. The six witches are scattered and located on the six continents of Gaiya, Vallian, Maldorian, Kaiden, Eroden, Kolde, and the continent of Gaiya itself.

To the east of Gaiya, protector of Vallian is the firstborn Aerose. He is a stubborn witch, quiet with little words. But he is a powerful witch, considerably the most powerful of all his siblings. Though he may seem standoffish, Aerose cares deeply for his siblings. In particular he has a strong protective connection for his little brother Janu. He is a mysterious witch filled with hidden talent.

To the west of Gaiya, protector of Maldorian is the second born Madeline. An enchantress, filled with secrets, she is a trickster. She is a devious witch always playing mental tricks on unsuspecting creatures. Her mischievous behavior often gets her in trouble with her siblings. Though she enjoys her playful personality, she just can’t help her temptations. Madeline is a witch to be cautious around, for secrets tend to come out.

To the southeast of Gaiya, protector of Kaiden, is the third born Apollo. One of the most intellectual witches in all of Gaiya, he is an innovator changing the landscape of Gaiya. Apollo is a pioneer forging new technology with his abilities to forever preserve Gaiya. He has a deep admiration for his oldest brother Aerose, always trying to prove himself. Apollo is an overachiever, trying to be the best at everything he pursues.

To the southwest of Gaiya, protector of Eroden, is the fourth born Tabitha. She is adventurous, always seeking a new adventure. Her journeys eventually led her to the oceans and now she has set sail as protector of the lands and seas. Tabitha is a fearless witch, able to take risks without any hesitation. Her curiosity will always get the best of her, leading her on a never ending journey to who knows where.

Within the continent of Gaiya itself, is home to Dahlia the fifth born and one half of the twin witches. She is a unique witch, for her abilities come from an emotion instead of an element. Her presence is calming able to soothe any darkness within a creature. Dahlia has a powerful connection and love for her brother Janu. Together with Janu, their powers become increasingly powerful even rivaling that of their brother Aerose. She is the most caring and loving of all the witches, for her powers are able to enchant all hearts with kindness. 

To the cold north of Gaiya, protector of Kolde, is the sixth born and one half of the twin witches, Janu. Janu is the youngest and second most powerful of the six witches. He is often troubled by his loneliness, unable to control the emptiness inside him without the help of his sister Dahlia. He has a strong love for his sister Dahlia, together their powers become amplified by one another. Janu is a kind and caring creature with a dark past. He is always fighting with the darkness inside himself. It is the connection and love from his sister Dahlia that is able to suppress his inner darkness. 

Together, they are the Six Witches of Gaiya preserver of the world. It is up to these six witches to defeat the rising threats that seek to consume Gaiya. Alone, they may be capable, but together with their strong bonds will they be able to stop these dark forces.
